Assistant Professor
Department of Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness
Louisiana State University
Welcome to my website! I am an assistant professor in the Department of Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness at Louisiana State University. Before joining LSU, I was a postdoctoral research associate at the Center for Business and Public Policy (CBPP) in the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. My research focuses on using large administrative datasets and causal analysis methods to explore the socio-economic impacts of environmental pollution and the effectiveness of regulatory policies, with a particular emphasis on water-related environmental challenges. My work sits at the intersection of environmental economics, health economics, and public economics.
I earned my Ph.D. in Public Policy from the University of Texas at Austin in 2021, a master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2014, and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Wuhan University in 2012.
